Christine has provided dog and horse training/behavioral services for over 30 years. Her clients span across the USA from NY, NJ, PA, CT, WY, CO, AZ to mention a few. Christine Nossoughi was profoundly influenced by animals since she can remember. She began drawing and studying dogs, horses and wildlife as early as five years old.
Christine grew up with dogs and horses, making them the focus of her life. Her obsession with her fur family served instrumental in her professional art practice starting at age fourteen, at the sale of her first painting. At nineteen Christine went on a mission, in search for the ultimate dog version of a horse. Attending a dog show, she first she laid eyes on a Rhodesian Ridgeback, the search was over. She worked for her breeder for one year to earn her first Rhodesian Ridgeback show dog.
Christine took the initiative to train and personally handle her dog at shows. And was hooked from that point on. Over the years she has owned many, many dogs of different breeds. While living on her horse ranch in Colorado, in 2003 Christine was introduced to her first Boerboel (South African Mastiff). Predators were attacking her livestock and the Boerboel served as a superb working farm/guardian dog. Her love for this breed led her to breeding, raising, training and showing Boerboels for 20 years.
