This is great for dogs who have fears or sensitivities to things such as the vet, groomers, being touched, new or strange environment/surroundings, or other animals/people. -
We use desensitization to work through changing the emotional response of the dog from fear, aggression, obsession, etc. to a neutral response with no reaction. -
We combine this with counter-conditioning where we work on changing a dog's reaction to a certain stimulus allowing trips to the vet/groomers more manageable as well as being able to bring your dog around new areas/environment with more ease and certainty.

Kailani
Dog Trainer
My name is Kailani and I have been involved in the pet care industry for the past 10-plus
years! Since I was a little girl, I was obsessed with everything dogs. Once I finally got to
bring my first dog Bailey home, I knew this undeniable passion and need to learn
everything I could about dogs was just the beginning. My deep love and connection with
dogs soon fueled my passion to become a Certified Dog Trainer.
I am skilled in force-free dog training techniques and educated about using science and behavior-based methods to make training more efficient. I pride myself on the use of positive reinforcement methods that will build confidence in our beloved pups and strengthen the bonds we have with them. I work closely every step of the way to ensure the process is enjoyable for the client, fun for the dog, and successful for everyone!
